On a relatively small geographic surface there are so many things to see and to return to them in order to see them from a different perspective.
One cannot forget inland Istrian towns situated on the peaks of the hills. There is no other place in Europe with such a concentration of medieval towns as there is in Istria. And all those church towers and churches with fresco paintings,outstanding monuments and cultural treasures, than landscapes painted in rich variety of colors changing with the seasons... There is also an Amphitheater in Pula, and divine Eufrasius basilica in Poreč that has recently joined a family of the UNESCOs World Heritage. |
