Funtana, Ribarska street 24, phone 445-119: from June till Septem ber every two weeks there are art exhibitions. In August there is an unique art show, The naive art in Istria. Drawings and paintings of the naive Istrian painters are exhibited for that occasion. Gallery has provided a permanent exhibition Funtana in photographs. It is open for visitors in the morning and in the evening.

SCULPTURE PARK OF DUSAN DZAMONJA
Valkanela: sculptures of Dusan Dzamonja are arranged in natural surroundings. Next to the park is the artists private gallery of smaller sculptures, graphics and drawings.

ST. BERNARD'S FIESTA
St Bernard is a patron saint of Funtana and his day is celebrated on the first weekend after August 20th: whole day of fun, good food, music, sport and recreation games and other entertainment. Food that is offered is intentionally typical and special offer of Istrian cuisine.
In camps and resorts amusing tourist fiestas are organised specially for summer visitors to whom different sport and entertainment games are offered. |
