     Pješčana uvala, je moderno naselje koje postoji tek tridesetak godina. Otkrili su ga kupači vezavši se za prirodno pješčanu plažu koja dominira između dva poluotoka, otuda i ime ovom gradiću. Do njih su se udomili nautičari, sklanjajući na sigurno od nevrijemena svoja plovila. I bilo je sve preodređeno da tu nastane suvremeno rezidencijalno naselje.
    Pješčana uvala broji 350 stanovnika, obilježena je suvremenom arhitekturom po mjeri čovjeka. Dugo šetalište vijuga podno gradića uz obalu s brojnim restoranima, barovima, trgovinama, slastičarnicama. Tu je lječnička ordinacija i centar za uljepšavanje.      Pješčana uvala, is a modern settlement, established only thirty years ago. It was discovered by bathers who became captivated by the natural sandy beach which dominates the area between two peninsulas, hence the name of the town. Sailors have also settled here, seeking a safe place for their vessels during storms. All of the prerequisites for establishing a modern residential area existed.

     Pješčana uvala has 350 residents, and it's characterized by modern architecture to suit man's needs. A long path winds below the town along the beach, dotted with numerous restaurants, taverns, stores and pastry shops. There is also a doctor's office and a beauty salon.      Pješčana uvala, ist eine moderne Siedlung, die erst vor ungefähr dreißig Jahren entstanden ist. Sie wurde von Schwimmern, denen der natürliche Sandstrand in einer Bucht zwischen zwei Halbinseln sehr gefiel, entdeckt. Daher auch der Name - Sandbucht. Zugleich kamen auch die Nautiker, um ihre Boote an einer vor Stürmen und Gewittern sicheren Stelle anzulegen. Alles war für eine moderne privilegierte Siedlung vorbestimmt.


     Pješčana uvala zählt 350 Einwohner und verfügt über eine moderne dem Menschen angepaßte Architektur. Die lange Strandpromenade schlängelt sich unter dem Städtchen und an vielen Restaurants, Bars, Geschäften und Konditoreien vorbei. Im Ort gibt es auch einen Arzt und einen Schönheitssalon. Dem malerischen Charakter der Landschaft trägt auch die Marina, in der Jachten vermietet werden, bei. Lo hanno scoperto i bagnanti che si sono affezionati alla naturale spiaggia sabbiosa (da qui il suo nome) che si estende tra due penisole. Qui si sono accasati i naviganti che hanno trovato cosi sicuro riparo dai capricci del mare. La zona aveva tutti i presupposti per diventare un moderno rione residenziale.

Il tocco artistico alla localitá viene dato dal centro nautico che offre imbarcazioni e noleggio. E poi, le numerose camere private e appartamenti sono la scelta giusta per una vacanza indimenticabile
