One of the biggest attractions of Novigrad is the international summer festival Music Nights under the experienced direction of the internationally known Croatian vibraphonist Bosko Petrovic. The open air stage at the Veliki trg (Main Square) hosts each year celebrities of the world.

All the historical and cultural monuments of Novigrad are open for visits. Novigrad will meet the end of the millennium with the big cultural event - with the statues and stonework in the lapidarium showing their resplendent newly reacquired whiteness.

As for the more recent art, there are two galleries in town - The Rigo Gallery and the City Hall Gallery.
